On Tuesday, December 15th General Michael Hayden (U.S. Air Force, Retired), the only American to head both the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency, joined Hudson Senior Fellow Arthur Herman for a conversation on the gathering cyber security storm.

The December luncheon featured a frank discussion with the man who was responsible for overseeing the collection of intelligence about the plans, intentions, and capabilities of America’s adversaries, and the conduct of covert operations to thwart terrorists and other enemies of the U.S.

Hayden, well-known from frequent appearances on Sunday-morning television news shows and a leading expert on cyber security, offered candid insight into the growing number of dangerous international crises in the final year of the Obama administration.

����� Senior Fellow Arthur Herman, the Pulitzer Prize-finalist historian and author of the highly acclaimed best-seller Freedom’s Forge: How American Business Produced Victory in World War II, moderated the discussion.

This luncheon marked the fifth event in Hudson’s fall 2015 New York Discussion Series.
