The Trump administration is converging on a holistic strategy to address Iran's nuclear and non-nuclear misbehavior. Across the board, the strategy will attempt to pressure Iran - and in some cases American allies - to fix inadequate constraints on Iranian behavior, both in the nuclear domain and in the context of Iranian regional expansionism and global terror activities. Both supporters and detractors of the administration, however, have raised concerns about whether the tools the administration seems ready to use are adequate for the goals it has set. How will the president鈥檚 decision on JCPOA recertification factor into this administration鈥檚 strategy for the region?

On October 13, 华体会 hosted a panel discussion on the fate of the Iran Deal. Hudson fellows Michael Pregent and Lee Smith joined Ambassador Alberto Fernandez of the Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Omri Ceren of The Israel Project to discuss the JCPOA and the administration鈥檚 broader Middle East strategy.
