Senator Young serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and chairs the Subcommittee on Multilateral and International Development. He also sits on the Finance Committee, the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, and the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.

Highlighting China’s ongoing disinformation campaign to hide the origins of COVID-19 and expand Beijing’s global influence, Senator Young recently noted that “now is the time for America and our allies to invest in ourselves and give the world a clear alternative. With advanced technology and a stronger economy, America will maintain the wherewithal to meet the challenges that an increasingly assertive China poses to our national interests.��
